Before you proceed with trading, it is essential to acknowledge and understand the risks associated with digital asset trading. The cryptocurrency market can be highly volatile and subject to various factors that may impact asset prices and overall market conditions. This risk disclosure document aims to provide you with an overview of potential risks involved in trading digital assets on our platform.

  1. Volatility Risk: Digital assets, including cryptocurrencies, can experience significant price fluctuations over short periods. Such volatility may lead to rapid gains or losses, and there is no guarantee of future profits or returns.

  2. Market Risk: The cryptocurrency market operates 24/7 and is influenced by global events, regulations, technological developments, and investor sentiment. These factors can impact asset prices and market liquidity.

  3. Regulatory Risk: The regulatory environment surrounding cryptocurrencies and digital assets is continuously evolving. Changes in laws and regulations may have adverse effects on trading activities, asset prices, and the platform's operation.

  4. Liquidity Risk: Some digital assets may have lower liquidity than others, which could result in challenges when buying or selling significant amounts at desired prices.

  5. Cybersecurity Risk: While we implement rigorous security measures, the digital nature of assets exposes them to cybersecurity threats. Hacks, data breaches, and other cyber-attacks may result in the loss of assets or sensitive information.

  6. Counterparty Risk: Trading on our platform involves transactions with other users. While funds are escrowed in the smart contracts which structurally eliminates the possibility for any counterparty risk, certain technical limitations may arise that lead to the temporary locking of yours or your counterparty's funds.

  7. Operational Risk: Although we strive to provide a stable and reliable platform, technical issues, system failures, or downtime may occur, impacting trading activities.

  8. Information Risk: Market sentiment and asset valuations may be influenced by false or misleading information. Relying on inaccurate information may lead to adverse trading decisions.

  9. Personal Responsibility: Trading digital assets involves personal responsibility for financial decisions. It is essential to conduct thorough research and consider your risk tolerance and financial situation before engaging in any trading activity.

  10. Loss of Private Keys: Digital asset ownership relies on private keys. Losing access to your private keys may result in the permanent loss of your assets.

  11. Unpredictable Market Conditions: Digital asset markets are influenced by a wide range of factors, including geopolitical events, macroeconomic trends, and technological advancements, making it challenging to predict future market movements.

  12. Third-Party Operator Risk: Each Aspens Markets Stack is operated by independent third parties who maintain control over their specific implementation. The reliability, security practices, and business conduct of these operators may vary and are beyond Aspens' control.
